Appeals Policy

How to challenge a removal, strike or suspension.

2. What you can appeal

You can appeal:

  • Removal of a post, comment, direct message or Woulo clip.
  • A strike on your account.
  • A temporary or permanent suspension.
  • A rejected upload flagged by automated screening.

3. How to appeal

Include everything below so we can find the decision quickly:

  1. The username on the account.
  2. The link to the content, or the date of the suspension.
  3. What you think we got wrong, in your own words.
  4. Any context that helps — the meaning of a Kreyòl phrase, permission you had, or the original source.

Send appeals to: appeals@konbitapp.com

Appeal within 30 days of the decision. Later appeals are accepted when the account is suspended.

4. What happens next

We aim to answer every appeal within 7 days.

  • A reviewer who did not make the original decision looks at the case.
  • We re-read the content in its original language and context.
  • We write to you with the outcome and the reason.

5. Possible outcomes

An appeal ends in one of three ways:

  • Overturned — the content is restored and any strike is cleared.
  • Reduced — for example a suspension becomes a warning.
  • Upheld — the original decision stands and we explain why.

6. Repeat and bad-faith appeals

One appeal per decision. Repeated appeals with no new information, or appeals used to harass our team, are closed without further review.
