1. Your right to appeal
Moderators are human and mistakes happen. If we removed your content, gave you a strike or suspended your account, you can ask us to look again — and a different reviewer will.
2. What you can appeal
You can appeal:
- Removal of a post, comment, direct message or Woulo clip.
- A strike on your account.
- A temporary or permanent suspension.
- A rejected upload flagged by automated screening.
3. How to appeal
Include everything below so we can find the decision quickly:
- The username on the account.
- The link to the content, or the date of the suspension.
- What you think we got wrong, in your own words.
- Any context that helps — the meaning of a Kreyòl phrase, permission you had, or the original source.
Send appeals to: appeals@konbitapp.com
Appeal within 30 days of the decision. Later appeals are accepted when the account is suspended.
4. What happens next
We aim to answer every appeal within 7 days.
- A reviewer who did not make the original decision looks at the case.
- We re-read the content in its original language and context.
- We write to you with the outcome and the reason.
5. Possible outcomes
An appeal ends in one of three ways:
- Overturned — the content is restored and any strike is cleared.
- Reduced — for example a suspension becomes a warning.
- Upheld — the original decision stands and we explain why.
6. Repeat and bad-faith appeals
One appeal per decision. Repeated appeals with no new information, or appeals used to harass our team, are closed without further review.
