This Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy explains how KONBITAPP LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company (“KONBIT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies, software development kits (“SDKs”), pixels, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies when you use the KONBIT website, future mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files stored on your browser or device when you visit or use a website.

The technologies used depend on KONBIT’s current features and service providers.
4. Strictly Necessary Technologies

Where required by applicable law, KONBIT obtains consent before using non-essential functional technologies.

KONBIT uses first-party content-view measurement and operational event logging to understand and protect the Services. Optional analytics remain disabled unless a user enables Analytics in Cookie Settings.
These technologies may help us understand:
- Number of users
- Pages or screens viewed
- Features used
- Session duration
- Application performance
- Errors and crashes
- General geographic information
- Device characteristics
- Referral sources
- General usage patterns
We use this information to maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, secure, and improve KONBIT. KONBIT does not currently deploy a third-party advertising analytics SDK or marketing pixel.
7. Advertising Technologies
KONBIT does not currently operate an advertising program or deploy advertising networks, advertising SDKs, attribution providers, or marketing pixels. Advertising is planned and may be introduced later.
If introduced, advertising technologies may display advertisements, measure performance, prevent fraud, limit repeated advertisements, identify interactions, or personalize advertising where permitted. Before activating them, KONBIT will update this Policy and provide any notices, consent choices, or opt-out controls required by law.
8. Authentication Technologies
KONBIT uses authentication tokens and related browser storage to authenticate users, keep users signed in, detect suspicious login activity, prevent unauthorized account access, and maintain secure sessions. These technologies are necessary for account-based Services.
9. Security Technologies
KONBIT may use technical session, device, network, and account signals to detect and prevent:
- Spam
- Fraud
- Automated abuse
- Account takeover
- Malicious traffic
- Unauthorized access
- Platform manipulation
- Other security threats
10. Mobile Applications and SDKs
KONBIT currently provides a web application and does not currently deploy native iOS or Android SDKs. If native applications are introduced, SDKs may support authentication, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, media processing, security, advertising, payments, or other functionality.
Users may be able to control future SDK-related collection through application settings, device permissions, operating-system privacy settings, or KONBIT privacy controls. This inventory will be updated before native SDKs are deployed.
11. Local Storage
KONBIT uses browser storage to save information locally, including authentication information, cookie choices, language and feature preferences, unsent drafts, temporary onboarding or policy-acceptance state, cached content, and security or recovery information.
Local storage can improve performance, preserve user choices, and reduce repeated downloads. Users can clear it through browser controls, although doing so may sign them out, remove drafts, or reset preferences.
12. Third-Party Technologies
Service providers may assist KONBIT with hosting, authentication, storage, content delivery, security, email, media uploads, and application performance. Third parties process information under their agreements with KONBIT and, where applicable, their own privacy policies.
KONBIT maintains an internal inventory of deployed technologies and will update this public summary as material providers or uses change. No third-party advertising technology is currently active.

Exact names or storage periods may change when required for security or service operation. KONBIT will keep the inventory current and identify newly deployed non-essential providers before or when required by law.
14. Your Cookie Choices
Depending on your location and the technologies in use, you may control Tracking Technologies through KONBIT’s Cookie Settings, KONBIT privacy settings, browser settings, mobile operating-system settings, device advertising settings, or other available opt-out mechanisms.
Blocking some technologies may affect functionality.
15. Cookie Consent
Where law requires prior consent, KONBIT requests consent before activating non-essential Tracking Technologies.
Necessary
Required for core platform operation, authentication, consent storage, and security. This category is always active.
Functional
Used to remember optional preferences and provide enhanced functionality. It is disabled by default until selected.
Analytics
Used for optional usage measurement and improvement. It is disabled by default until selected.
Advertising
KONBIT does not currently offer this category because advertising technologies are not active. Required controls will be added before advertising begins.
16. Changing or Withdrawing Consent
Where processing is based on consent, users may withdraw or modify that consent at any time through Cookie Settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.
Cookie Settings remain accessible from this page after the initial selection.
17. Global Privacy Control and Opt-Out Signals
Where required by applicable law, KONBIT recognizes applicable browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), for relevant optional processing. When GPC is detected, KONBIT keeps optional Analytics disabled unless a legally permitted user choice controls a different processing activity.
The effect may depend on applicable law, jurisdiction, browser configuration, whether the user is logged in, and the processing involved.
18. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no single universally adopted standard governing all uses of these signals, KONBIT may not respond to traditional Do Not Track signals unless required by law. This differs from legally recognized opt-out preference signals such as GPC.
19. Mobile Privacy Controls
Mobile operating systems may provide controls for location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts, advertising identifiers, tracking permissions, and notifications. Users can manage these permissions through device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent dependent features from functioning.
20. Retention
Tracking Technologies remain on a device for different periods based on purpose. Session technologies may end when the browser closes. The KONBIT consent cookie lasts about 12 months. Local preferences and drafts generally remain until replaced, cleared, or no longer needed. Authentication duration follows the secure session configuration.
KONBIT and its providers do not retain identifiers longer than reasonably necessary for their stated purposes, subject to legitimate security, legal, and operational requirements.
21. International Users
Privacy rules for cookies and Tracking Technologies vary by jurisdiction. Where applicable law requires additional consent, disclosure, or controls, KONBIT will take reasonable measures to provide them and may configure technologies differently by jurisdiction.
22. Children’s Privacy
KONBIT is not intended for children under 13. KONBIT does not knowingly use Tracking Technologies to create targeted advertising profiles for children under 13 in violation of law. Additional protections may apply to teenagers. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
23. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy when technologies, vendors, features, advertising practices, laws, or privacy practices change. We will update the Last Updated date and, where required, provide additional notice or obtain new consent.
