You can generally control location permission in device settings. We may use available location information for location-based features, account protection, suspicious-activity detection, recommendations, or legal compliance.
7. Contacts
If KONBIT offers a feature to find people you know, we may request permission to access contacts. We will access or process an address book only after obtaining the appropriate permission and providing applicable notice.

Certain KONBIT features require permission to access your camera, microphone, photo library, or device media so you can record videos, take photographs, livestream, upload media, or record audio.
KONBIT requests applicable permission before access. You may revoke permission through device settings, although some features may then be unavailable.

KONBIT may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, or automated systems for recommendations, search, spam and fraud detection, safety, moderation, translation, transcription, accessibility, media processing, and other platform functions.
Some text, audio, images, videos, or related information may be sent to contracted AI service providers, including services that use Google or OpenAI models through KONBIT's technology provider, subject to contractual and privacy protections.

Business Transactions
Information may transfer in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, bankruptcy, or similar transaction. A successor remains subject to applicable legal obligations.
16. Selling and Sharing Personal Information
KONBIT does not sell personal information for money.
Some privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly. If future advertising, analytics, or similar technologies constitute selling or sharing under applicable law, we will provide required notices and opt-out mechanisms before or when those activities apply.
17. Advertising
KONBIT does not currently operate an advertising program. We may offer advertising in the future based on context, general audience characteristics, or user activity where permitted by law.
Before targeted advertising or legally defined sharing begins, KONBIT will provide required notices and controls. We will not use sensitive personal information for targeted advertising unless legally permitted and appropriately disclosed.
18. Cookies and Similar Technologies
KONBIT and its providers may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, device identifiers, and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, analytics where enabled, performance, functionality, and future advertising where applicable.
See our Cookie Policy for details. Where law requires consent before non-essential technologies are used, KONBIT will request it.

- Type of information and collection purpose
- Whether an account remains active
- Security and legal requirements

Information may remain temporarily in backups. We may retain limited records after account deletion to comply with law, prevent fraud, protect safety, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or prevent repeated violations.
20. Account Deletion
Users may request account deletion through KONBIT's settings or another method we provide. The request may result in deletion or de-identification of associated information, subject to lawful retention exceptions.
Some information may remain when another user independently shared it, security or legal records must be preserved, a dispute remains, temporary backups retain it, or another lawful exception applies.
21. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:
- Access information and learn about processing
- Correct or delete information
- Obtain a portable copy of certain information
- Opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising
- Limit certain uses of sensitive information
- Withdraw consent where processing depends on it
- Appeal certain privacy-rights decisions
Not every right applies everywhere. We may verify identity, and authorized agents may submit requests where law permits and verification requirements are met.

26. Data Breaches and Security Incidents
If KONBIT experiences a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and take appropriate measures. Where law requires notice to affected people, regulators, or authorities, we will provide it.
27. International Users and Data Transfers
KONBIT may be accessible outside the United States. Personal information may be processed in the United States or other countries where KONBIT or its providers operate, whose laws may differ.
Where required, we will use appropriate transfer mechanisms. Availability in a country does not mean every feature is offered or legally available there.
28. Third-Party Links
KONBIT may link to third-party websites, applications, or services governed by their own policies. KONBIT is not responsible for independent third-party privacy practices merely because a service is linked from KONBIT.
